    offset help

    i know it sounds silly im new to this but i was hoping for some help is 3mm offset deeper or 10mm because im confused with these ive just started building a ae86 and a rocket bunny to get involved with so all the help is appreciated

    not totally sure what you mean by deeper but if you mean the dish of the wheel that is down to the design of the wheel nothing to do with offset. offset is how far out the wheel sit from the chassis so if you have 3mm offset and change to 6mm offset the wheels will set an extra 3mm out compared to the 3mm offset wheels. hope that helps its easiest way i could think of to explain

    Erm ^^ partly right,but if you have a design of wheel that is the same in 3mm and 6mm offset... Then most of the time the 6mm will have a deeper dish or a deeper spoke design...

    vary true can, can rely set your car of with a deeper rear rim depending on your shell and style of course

    10mm is a much wider offset than a 3mm IMO
