Arrow EXTREME ENTRY Practice day on Donington Circuit - £60

POW! The backwards entry has been pulled off by a few top drivers now including Not-Mitto-He-Just-Up-Photos-Of-Spins, Ryan Turek, several D1 drivers (including the famous Kawabata), Matt Powers, Phil Morrison, Fredrick Aasbo and Tanner Faust - to name but a few! But the actual process of the backwards entry isn't actually a dark secret - we strongly believe at Driftworks that it's all about seat time and practice.

So what better way to nail this in front of video and photo cameras than to attend the Extreme Entry day at Donington on the actual circuit itself! We've managed to secure a day on the Donington on Friday the 1st of July 2011, we will be running the day on the Melbourne Loop (which is actually on the real circuit itself) and will allow you try run after run of nailing that perfect entry.

The corner is ideal - a long wide run up to a wide arc 180 degree corner with a new tarmac run off will give you the chance to hit top of 3rd or even 4th and fire the car in at a crazy angle and learn the balance and the technique required. Phil Morrison will be on hand during the day along with other Driftworks drivers to give you tips and hints and advice, plus we will be making sure that everyone is chilled out, having fun and having an amazing day!

It doesn't matter if you're new or if you're pro level, everyone is welcome and everyone will learn something and have loads of fun! There is very little chance of damaging cars too as there is nothing to hit if it all goes wrong and you spin out. You also don't need to have a crazy modified car - any car is capable of pulling off a huge angle entry as long as you try hard enough!

We're inviting a lot of photographers and video guys too, so this will be a great chance for you to get your skills up to scratch for AwesomeFest, or even BDC! There will be a specially made Trophy on the day for the best entry as judged by Team Driftworks for the winner, plus a couple of VIP Backstage / Hospitality passes if you come to AwesomeFest. So for an amazing day out on Friday the 1st of July, get your booking now! Spaces are limited, max of 40 cars for the day, demand is expected to be pretty high so please book early to avoid disappointment, and the whole day is only £60!!!

    Timings are General Details:

    Event Date - Friday 1st July 2011, Sign on from 8:30am, Track time 10am - 5pm. Noise limit is 105dB static at 1m / 90 degrees.

Circuit Address: Donington Park, Castle Donington, Derby, DE74 2RP

Please bring a crash helmet as they will be required. You will get unlimited runs, and the day will run on an open-pitlane style / queue system to ensure best quality seat time and photo opportunities. Passengers ride free, spectators can spectate as well.

    FIXED.

Yep, passengers are allowed, they will need to sign an indemnity as usual, and spectators are welcome.
