SJSdesign/Graphics comes to DW

Hi guys, after a few chats with Phil recently I'm proud to say we have been welcomed on board in a more official capacity.

SJS has been going for nearly 4 yrs now (with 20yrs design experience, and fitters with over 25 yrs experience) we have made a name for ourselves in the Japanese tuning scene. We are designers first then vinyl fitters, which we and our customers think gives us the edge over your usual sign writer but dont worry we have a really good rep for quality of finish/workmanship We also will be around longer than the gods knows how many car graphics places that are popping up thanks to ebay and China!

We are Jap car mad ( I currently run a Evo5 and Caroline has a Mazda Eunos being turned to drift spec slowly) we spend a lot of time at various events for business/pleasure. We Sponsored Declan Hicks in the EDC and will be working again with him in 2008 along with a few more Drivers, including the DW boys

We are small outfit based in Essex about 5-10mins from the M25 but we run a mail-order service to most countries worldwide via our website. The website is a work in progress and we will be adding more as time goes on. A drift section is on the cards so let us know your ideas

We are here to cater for all your graphics/vinyl needs but we also have made a name designing full on one off creations for various Track/drag/Drift/Rally cars.

We aren't what you call a sign writer 95% of our work is what we like doing best, working with Jap metal but we do a bit of commercial work sometimes.

DW has created this forum so you can talk with us about your needs, whether it be a few small decals, sheets of vinyl, designs, printed graphics, Vectorising artwork, full custom car creations of crazy driftyness

We are working on a deal so we can supply the awesome chrome vinyl's used over in Japan that unlike the Chrome available in the UK is great for being used on curves and complex areas of bodywork while coming in lots of crazy colours

Thanks for listening and look forward to working with you and DW.

Welcome .

How about a sticky post with typical prices in? Just so we can expect a price to pay for say, full side graphics using XX number of colours, price to pay for a full wrap, bonnet wrap [something I'll be having done at some point] etc.

Thanks for the welcomes

We will be getting more info up soon as poss and creating various threads in this section.

We try not deal with pricing on the forum theres so much "my mates got a cutter, i'll do it cheaper blah blah, i know a guy etc etc" that it can get silly. But i will look at sorting out some ballparks on various types of work and few pricing brackets if using normal or specilist vinyls. Larger jobs are priced on a per project basis depending on design time/materials/labour etc.

We also will put some hints/tips advice and various pics, features etc. Also projects we are working on and past work that you guys might like to see.

From a design point of view I love the creative side of the drift scene and cant wait to get my teeth into it more and more

Cheers

Si

Welcome Si

It would be good if you put up ballpark figures as it could save on endless PMs.

Ahh, welcome.
I always wondered who was responsible for The decals on the norris shortened evo. That just shows what can be done nowadays.

I suppose its an official hello

Can vouch for SJS's quality of work, it far above you regular vinyl company & the effort & detail that goes into stuff is amazing. I'm sure many of you have seen in my car in the flesh. If not here's a couple of pics

I always thought your car looked pants, but I don't think that's SJS's fault.
