Hi,

sorry our criteria is pretty strict with Skylines, unfortunately as things stand we are unable to help you.

Apologies

I'm after insurance on a semi-sensible daily driver (Honda SM-X) but don't have any no-claims, is it worth ringing or wouldn't you be able to do anything for me? I'm 24 if it makes any difference.

Cheers

After the quote I got today I will be joining Sky at the end of this month, they beat Flux by nearly 100 quid and have quoted me at less than HALF what A Plan are charging me.
Extremely impressed this is a big saving for me.

Hi,

Unfortunately we cannot insure anyone who is under 19 years old and who has held their licence for less than two years.

Apologies

Simple answer is claims loss ratio for under 25's on Skylines... Skylines are very high risk car... if we insure under 25 year olds and they crash and claim, this has a knock on effect for all of our customers and we end up pushing up prices for all of our customers. By saying no in the first place and only insuring lower risk, older drivers on skylines we keep our claims loss ratio low and can pass these savings on to other customers...

We have some of the best claims stats in the business and we aim to keep it this way.

Unfortunately for us this does appear stict when you look at the bare bones and we leave ourselves open to critiscism, however in the interest of keeping our prices low and customers happy this is the only way to do it.

I hope that answers your question.

Regards

Ollie

errrm, you are barking up the wrong tree on this one. We insure many, many customers aged 19+ on all types of Japanese and modified cars... you have read my post above about SKYLINES and have completely misinterpreted it. We have 25 years old and over restrictions on SKYLINES, Imprezas and Evos...

We are a sucessful insurance broker specialising in insurance for car club members, if we were unable to insure 19-30 years olds we wouldn't be in business.. 19-30 year old are our bread and butter business!

Hi, yes we should be able to do something for you; it will make no difference if the the car is UK or import.

Drop me a Pm with your name, phone number and a good time to call if you'd like me to arrange for one of my colleagues to give you a ring and take you through a quote?

Cheers
