| Insurance to drive a car to the ferry
hi im possibly going to the UK to buy a car one of the next few weeks. Can i legaly drive the car from the seller to the ferry or do i need to buy some sort of insurance?? - im from Denmark I know here in Denmark the sellers insurance has to cover the new owner for the first 3 weeks after the sale. how do i drive the car legaly to the ferry?? (4-5 hours driving) Kind Regards Aarosin

you will need to get insured or you risk being pulled. try some sort of temp cover company. norwich union do good 1day cover but you might be limited as you are from abroad. sky insurance may well do something. Last edited by FireStorm999; 26-05-2009 at 14:57. |

what is wrong with the temp cover... i dont think im resident in UK.. im polish.. and i can insure the car in UK. so why he cant. speak with the seller can you put his addres in the insurance and i think its sorted.. am i wrong??
