    t25 on ca18et

been out tonight on "private" roads, when i come on full boost theres like this high pitched grinding noise, also the boost is intermittant!

im currently running a std t2 at the mo, which has been running at a bar for a number of months, im thinking this is causing the problem..

when im accellerating and i lift the throttle so im at about 0.8 - 0.9 bar it dissapears??

car pulls really well when the boost decides it wants to come in!
fi its gone no big deal, as iv got a mint t25 also a t28, but will i have to upgrade anything else like the injectors or the ecu map to run the t25?

also has anyone had any experience with fitting the t28 to a ca18et?

will check the tubby tomorrow in work!

iv checked this morning it seems to be the turbo bearings! #
theres shite loads of play and the compressor blades are shot to bits!
the housing has seen better days too!

im not suprised as i know the turbo cant handle the amount of boost i was asking of it but seeing as i have a spare 25 thought id see how long it would last!

done well, three practise days and sheds load of abuse on the street (6 months!)

    roll on the t25!!

I don't know first hand, but your probably going to have to rotate the core to get it to all line up. But a T25 flange is a T25 flange - should bolt straight on.
    Way too old for signatures

done a bit of research on the s12oc, thinks it can bolt straight on!
