welcome to owning a nissan skyline lol get yaself a wasted spark set up or splitfires m8 ive got a 32 and 33 and both seem to miss fire like hell under high revs, or maybe even try chaging plugs as daft as it sounds, if they are breaking down or blowing the spark out when your coming on to boost. | |

| right..its still doing it.. iv done everything i can thank of...got the wasted spark kit, new sparks, all ignition system is fine.im sure its nothing like that.... now here is my new dilema... if i run the boost standard, by running the actuator off the intercooler pipes it boosts to 0.4/0.5 bar then stops..but it wont go above about 4500rpm in any gear...no missfire thou if i run the boost controller at any boost pressure (as low as .4 bar) the car boost spikes to about 1/1.2 bar then missfires (i assume this is fuel cut by the ecu) so any more ideas.. im thinking of changing the fuel filter tomorro as i havent done that..hopeing this will help... im runing out of ideas and ime..gotta get it working properly for tuesday as i leave for nurburgring |

| right..got it working.. all i did was fit a wasted spark kit, fmic, new oil and plugs...that was good..ran smoother.... but still wasnt boosting properly or revving all the way up... so i changed the fuel filter..and it works fine, boosts all the way, holds at .8 bar..running sweet.. so there you go. change the filter.. ![]() |

| after all the replacing of parts, uprating to FMIC, wasted spark kit, plugs, coil packs etc.......it turned out to be a simple thing that one of us should of thought to try first. It's so simple its just silly! The bloody fuel filter was blocked a bit! Cyper fitted a new one and all is fine and the car pulls like a train all the way to 160 MPH. Wish haddn't sold it now, oh well! |
