E36 issues New car, new problems ![]() I've done about 400miles in my 328 now, and it has a slight judder when braking. If I just press the pedal enough to slow down a bit on the motorway its quite harsh, but if I stand on the brakes to stop quickly I dont notice it at all ![]() I'm thinking its warped discs, but my experience with BM's is usually some bush is feckered. Any ideas which one?? And while I'm under the car (or probably while Mark is under the car ![]()

careful with the rear springs being too low coz you end up with quite a bit of neg camber on the back if they are, and tyre wear on the insides goes through the roof had eibach sportline springs on mine with koni@s (45mm drop front) 30mm rear) and was too much, can get corrector bolts and camber arms but eibach ones are silly money for what they are Trailing arm bushes and rear damper bushes go quite quick too. (rear knocking)

Nice one, cheers ![]() Worth upgrading to poly bushes or not? Its not gonna be a stripped out, coilover'd dedicated drift slag as its my daily hack. Niel, roughly how much are we looking at for the camber arms etc?

| buttercakes!! ![]() | yeah dont lower it too much at the back, about 40mm tops so the standard rear camber bolts will be able to dial the camber out. i'm down about 60mm and running 3mm of rear neg camber, its rubbish. its worth polybushing both the rear bush of the front wishbones, and the rear trailing arm bushes. all other ones should be fine to leave standard for now. it wont make it too crashy. |

yeah, definatly! the rear trailing arm ones kinda press in the arms by squeezing then together and have a alloy insert that sits on the carrier faces, its concaved rubber bush ie.... )-( so it has sum sideways movement for ride comfort, but tend to split from the alloy, powerflex ones are like 2 top hats with a steel insert and the poly sits nearly flush with the carrier face. So theres much less if any sideways play. They're all pretty soft and squidgy and tend to split from the inserts so would be a wise choice for allignment. Not a rip off like s13 powerflex either try to find pics if you want powerflex bushes that you need comes to about £70 but the whole kit is £190 Last edited by neil a walker : 06-05-2008 at 01:08.

Are these James springs worth buying? BMW 320/323/325/328 E36 60/40mm Lowering Springs 120419 on eBay, also Suspension Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 17-May-08 09:30:17 BST) Bearing in mind about the rear camber issue, and its my daily hack, I dont want to go too mental. Has anyone got any pics of E36 saloons that they know how much the car was lowered by??
