just gone stage 2 with my s13 now problems.

i have just gone stage 2 with my ca18det. i have a Saab fmic, new gt28r turbo, boost controller, walbro fuel pump and H-Dev stage 2 chip. basically its starts fine. but when i boost it doesn't seem to boost as hard as stage 2 should. 1st gear it boost 2 14psi and 2nd gear it boosts to 12 psi ish and drops off. and third it struggles to get to 10 psi. any ideas. also it has started leaking oil between the sump and the gearbox. is it common on these to blow a crank shaft oil seal. thanks for any help.

probably sump gasket. it is a liquid gasket with a rubber strip at each end under the crank. I believe they often go at the rubbers.

I have just done mine with hylomar universal blue, appears to be bang on.

ok for the boost problem check that the metal coil is still inside the rubber hose between the maf and turbo, unless you have hard pipes?

other than that try vacum hoses I guess.

cheers

Make sure its not an oil leak from the turbo oil feed or drain first, seeing as youve just had that lot apart.
