soarer turbo - Drifting forum

The turbos on my soarer are fubar and im thinking about going for a single but instead of the normal suspects im trying to keep cost down abit if i was going for a custom manifold anyway would something like a r33 gtst turbo with metal blades or anything else be any good? looking for about 400bhp to 450bhp max at circa 1 bar.

anyone got any ideas

could just go for a ebay special as im only doing about 1k miles a year in it. BTW i would use it more for track than drift so base your opinions on that. Maybe the twins are better

on ebay atm from jps trading is the twin hks gt25 something or other kit, stuuuuuupid torques, its about 600notes

ive got a single turbo kit to fit a 2JZ here if you want it, comes with wastegate, screamer pipe, front mount and manifold, not sure how much grief it would be to fit a 1J but I thought that the ports were in the same place, could be wrong though
