engine bouncing around

Just started the 200sx up after 2 weeks of non starting as moving house and no tax and it is playing up.

it seems like its starving of air or something.

i cant describe apart from the engine is shaking more than normal like its bouncing out of the bay lol,.

I think it may be missfiring but i dont know how to check apart from that i dont know what it is.

anyone have a guess at what it cud be then let me know as mot is friday

My engine bumped when missfiring too, turns out my HT leads were on the wrong way round lol. Yeah coilpacks regularly go on them and they are easy to swap.

Like the car jerks and doesn't pull properly and sometimes pops and bangs randomly, and sounds less smooth from the exhaust as it is not firing evenly.

That sounds like it could well be the issue Islander, good luck with it Hopefully will be a nice simple fix. Make sure you don't get too much water dribbling into the cylinder if possible, use rag to dry it out before removing the plug. Then use WD40 or similar on the plug and the connectors etc.

Just incase you happen to get any water or shite in the cylinder, just pull the fuel pump fuse and crank it over for 20 secs or so without the spark plugs in, and it will blow any shit in there out of the top.
