vvt rattle s14????

im looking at buying an s14, i have found one that has "vvt rattle quite loud goes after 2000rpm" what needs to be done to fix this ?

keep it above 2000RPM then, easy

search button is your friend mate. take a look on Nissan SX Owners Club too. On there you'll be able to read all you want about it. as far as i remember, the vvt sproket needs be be changed in order to resolve the issue. not the cheapest repair, parts are expensive. it's a common fault
