| How does a 225 fit a 9J and have a stretch? It's been confusing me for a while now! 225 = width of tyre in mm 9 inches x 25mm = 225mm If they're the same, then why is there a stretch? I know there IS a stretch coz I'm runnin 225s on my 9Js, I just don't see how? ![]() |

| tyres and rims are full of voodo magic. Like, whey a 14 inch tyre (or any tyres really) actually has an inch LARGER diamiter that the tyre size. So, a 14 inch tyres diamiter from bead to bead is 15 inch. Strange. Jut do what other people do ad just use what works ![]() (I dont know anything about tyres etc above 15inch). ![]() |

Its because of the way the tyres/ rims are measured. tyres are measured by the tread width, and rims the inside of the rim width, but the tread on flush tyres over laps to the outside of the rim if that makes any sense ![]() | |
