| S14 running problems - over fueling and stuttering/spluttering between 3000-5500rpm Hi guys, anybody in the westmidlands about this weekend to lend a hand and take a look at my ride. mods so far to engine are FMIC, HKS EVC, straight thru exhaust, de cat, air filter, norris design fast road engine, suddenly devloped this issue where i can smell fuel inside the car, its using a lot more than usual, im now getting 8-10 mpg and when driving between 3000-5500rpm i get this stuttering/spluttering thru the system ive no idea whats wrong but need to get it fixed before i can consider getting it remapped. also has anyone any suggestions for next level of mods, got up to £2000 to spend. if you can offer help can always give me a call on 07920853579 saturday / sunday if ive not responded to pm's as i dont have a pc at home. cheers matt |

| touge runner | def sounds like some kinda fuel leak, especially if you can actually smell the fuel mate. check injector o-ring seals, may be worn? have you ever had any of the fuel pipes off before? perhaps maybe by the fuel filter, if there not clamped back tight or fresh clips used then sometimes, and I say sometimes, they can weep slightly and as it evaporates quickly it can sometimes make it hard to see but when driving and the engine and fuel system is more pressurised underload you can then notice the leak more. look carefully dude. |

| Hi guys, no i dont have a gauge plumbed in have replaced the exhaust manifold as i found a crack in that, but the problem is still there. Will check the fuel, injectors, etc for leaks this weekend and see if i find anything thencheers Matt |
