From what I hear, it's not cheap.

You'd save yourself a lot of time and money by buying a manual car in the first place.

the v160 tranny is not a cheap tranny at all unless you went with the R154 and even then from what i am aware of making a auto supra to a standard is not to cheap, youd almost be better off to spend a bit more and get a standard one and save yourself headaches and money

just my thoughts about it

From a search on the mkiv forums, it seems like £3000 - £4500 is the figure!

Although I'm not sure if that was parts only, or parts + labour.

w58 box 150 -200

R154 from mk 3 supra 150-200ish, need a bellhousing too about 250ish

V series 6 speed - 800 - 1500 box only, QSD spares do complete conversion 2300 EVERY single manual part included

Flywheel, master cyl, slave cyl, pedal, prop - 200-250 -either setup

Bridging the auto ECU i just one wire

everything will bolt into place but firewall will have to be drilled 4 the master cyl,

prop wont ba correct unless you use w58 or buy a 6 speed diff with v series, getting the prop modified is only about 70 last time i had it done

brake pedal can just be cut down

pobably have it done in a 2 days if you have all the parts and can spin a spanner

TT autos are really cheap now so are NA manual . . . . so either way building a TT manual can be done on the cheap specially if you use w58

yup you can

a lot of people use the R154 over the V160 when they do 2JZ swaps to S-series cars of Rex's, since it's cheaper to do and easier, but depending on the power numbers you want you may want to go with a V160.

So you definitly can use the R154 on the mark 5
