| Flame On!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() | Gaz is at the breakers in derby. They have a getrag 265, seperate bellhousing, it'll be too long for your prop - 5 speed non dogleg. Also have a 4 speed off an old 633CSi or something, but it's 50mm shorter than the seperate bellhousing 5 speed. Ant reckons he had to shorten the prop 2 inches, 2 inches is 50mm, so it sounds like the 4 speed will bolt up a treat! Should get you going. |

| Apparently not. The 4 speed is from pre-1980 633csi thingies, it's a getrag 262 which is the same as a removeable bell-housing 265 but minus the overdrive bit bolted onto the back so it should be about the right length and after potentially modding the shifter bracket a bit all should be well. Since it's just the 4 first gears of a 265 getrag it means it's strong as frick. Bllluuh, don't make me get old-skool! |
