Basically, you can fit it anywhere between the turbo & throttle body. The idea for a bov is to stop compressor stall & reduce lag between gears (nothing to do with vroom-tishhh, right ). It'll be most efective if fitted nearer the throttle body, but if you just want the noise it doesn't really matter

Depends on the DV. Some leak on idle causing the engine to hunt and in my experience they can cause over fuelling when changing gear. I used to have one on mine years ago but binned it because you could feel the car bogging down as you floor it after a gear change. I could get rediculous flamage though. ![]()

I bought one greddy look-a-like for my RX7 - was leaking like hell, even closed completely was hissing like a mad snake, car was over fueling and hunting - mad house! so I changed it for a real mccoy - worked the treat! as you said - you get what you pay for....

well i was thinking of removing mine, a bailey dump valve, but if i do what do i do with the small hose that comes from the top of the valve to the inlet? just blank it off? also i am running a boost gauge from this pipe, so will this affect the gauge or can it stay where it is ![]() Last edited by owent : 22-06-2008 at 11:38.
