DW coilovers camber problem Got the car aligned today, everything went well apart from the front camber. The drivers side is adjusted as far over as it can go and the most amount camber we achieved is -2.13 on that side but the passenger side had plenty more to go so we set them both at -2.13.I had a set of jic majic shocks with top mounts before the DW coilovers and they were fine so I am a little confused why this has happened Heres a few pics of either side Drivers side adjusted as far as it can go ![]() Passenger side with room for adjustment ![]()

bit confused here - to increase the camber the tops should point towards the engine bay not out? from your pics it looks like you trying to zero it out? but - if both of the sides are on the same angle and you still have adjustment left on one of them (whichever way) and the other one is on the limit it suggests your car had front end kisskiss...

Yeah very confusing. Do you mean you want less camber? The difference left to right is quite common as there are very few truely straight cars out there (even from new). There is possibly a real small amount of movement where the bolts go into the hub. I guess to help you out first we need to know your desired settings and what arms you have on the car ![]()

you may find that one of your lower arms may be bent.. i would have a good look at your arms on the front for any signs of bentness. IF nothing found if you get the work shop manual it shows you how to messure the front up to see if its ok. I've fitted loads of the driftworks gear to most cars, and i've not found there ever to be a difference like that... so give it a good look at your lower arms and your tention rods, also messure the position of the wheel in relation to the body to make sure its in the same place on both sides. Clarkey.

Hi sorry to confuse everyone with the first post but I was trying to get less camber than what we ended up with. I wanted to get -1.5 but we could not achieve anymore than -2.13 ie Less camber ![]() I am setting the car up to go on track soon and from some research on sxoc I decieded on these settings below although I'm not entirely sure whever they are ideal for my setup so any advice is welcome These are the settings I went in with, I wasnt sure on the front camber and was going to ask for advice off the alignment guy but didnt get anything usefull out of him ![]() I was aiming for handling primarily but wouldnt mind something thats a bit tail end happy so I thought a minimum amount of toe would be good for that ![]() FRONT castor 7.30 camber -1.3 to -1.5 toe 0.02 REAR camber -1.1 toe 0.02 Car suspension setup : Apex adjustable rose jointed arm kit Apex top and lower strut bars Apex full bush kit & subframe locking collars Apex engine & gearbox mounts Whiteline antiroll bars Tein rods & k-sport ends I read somewhere that the harder the suspension setup the less camber you need compared to a softer setup - Is this true?
