40% lock LSD is it enough? - Drifting forum

I am about to buy a E30 ETA 2,7 200 BHP with a 40 % LSD, but do you thnik that 40 Lock is enough for driftig or should I weld it?

Just try it out, or is that for some reason not allowed? 40% may be enough, just have to try it for yourself.

Depending on the condition of the LSD it should work well enough, but if you ever get to drive something with a nice 2 way in it then you'll see what you're missing out on. My advice would be to sell the LSD for rape money on e30zone (£200-£350), then put a welded diff in (in hindsight I should've done this on my E30, as the LSD was crap).
