Put a UK S13 one on there and get a decent handbrake for free

I've done that on my last couple...

i have all the z32 brakes and the 5 stud converion already waiting to go on. i was just wondering what the benefits where from putting the s14 or uk s13 rear sub frame on the 180sx. is it just a better handbrake thing or is there more to it. i was going to install a hydraulic handbrake anyway so if thats the only advantage then it wont apply to my setup.

really depends if you think the effort is gonna be worth the difference if you think you'll even notice any.

I think the main reason for putting a UK spec S14 or S13 rear subframe on a 180sx is to totally eradicate the HICAS rear wheel steering?

Just put a uk RS13 subframe on.. don't bother with the s14 one.

And its to remove the HICAS.

No need to break your studs off the floor then

My 180sx RPS13 kouki didn't come with hicas so i'm happy.

But its gay clarkey

Like clarkey says though, UK spec S13 subframe is what you want to do.
