Seam sealer removal

Just wondering how you guys are getting the seam sealer out so you can seam weld the chassis.

I've done a search but did'nt find anything on what people are using, just referances to grinding/wire brushing or burning it out.

Does the grinding/wire brushing get it clean enough for a good weld?

What sort of gas tourch do you use for burning it out?

I used wire wheels, takes a lot of time though and a lot of wheels, does the job but not perfect.

I used a wire brush/grinder/chisel/small malnourished orphan to get all the seam sealer out. It took a while but it worked!

wire wheel although you can get wire wheels that have some resin type shit on em so that the bristles dont fly off we used to call em 'muel skinners' then burn the remaining bits out.
dont forget to constantly remind yourself 'this is fun right?'
