Brake upgrade on the S13 - Drifting forum

I'm fed up of my brakes not working after short country lane blasts, so I think I need to upgrade before I end up in a field.

I understand the 300zx 4pots fit right? Would they fit under my 15" SSR wheels though? And what about discs?

Upgrade your fluid to dot5 and use a 300zx brake master cylinder. You wouldn't believe the difference.

if u use a 280 disc on s14 4 pots think they fit behind 15's depending o spoke design

you got no chance of getting brakes to fit under those front wheels.
what size discs do you have at the moment 265 or 280?
id guess by how dirty your front wheels always are that your front pads are lame just like your game.

maybe your brakes are poor because there aint no hard pipes in your setup yo!

I'd just give them fresh pads, fancy fluid (isn't it dot5.1 fluid, as dot5 is some weird type of fluid that kills you for old cars?), and braided lines etc. They shouldn't cook on country lanes

I thought hard lines(copper)>braided lines

Well yeah but you need braided lines from inner arch to hub

Ok mothalovas, I'll just rebuild my standard sheezeys and maybe route some cooling to them aswell. Matt gave me some funky wapanese brake pads, so I'll disc and line her up with some new seals.

Sounds good man, then at least you won't have any problems with fitting stuff or buying expensive stuff.

I can't find any rebuild kits, I guess everyone just ditches them haha

a real man, would fit wheels with such offset the the disc is inside the wheel, thus letting u run massive discs, prolem solved

Topi.. Im 99% sure ive got drilled and grooved 280mm discs, and they fitted behind my lameass 15" steels when i was waiting for new rimzorz?

Are you running facelife, or prefacelift discs?
