Diff Gear from M3 EVO

Tyical question in which i cannot remember the answer but i know its been asked.

The BMW M3 Evo 3.2 LSD Gear...does it fit into a stock 318 diff??
i belive that if you change the entire Diff then you need to change a few other bits(i was told. right or not i dont know)
can i take apart a Evo diff and replace my internals???

cheers
Jamie

No, internals are totally different sizes, M3 3.2 Evo diff is exclusive to the Evo, you'd need an M3 Evo rear subframe, driveshafts, hubs and trailing arms to go with it.
