How easy to build good spec Rb20/6 etc - SR20

After the joys of building up my Renault 19 16v block for my volvo. i fancy a new challenge once it's running and am thinking Rb or SR series of engines.

How easy are they to build to good internal spec, how cheap/expensive etc? Places to get parts.

To give ya a clue heres what i have done to my volvo engine:

New bearings- main and big ends, Thrust washers - piston rings.
Sent the head away as it needed work i couldnt do, but will soon have the tools for. So you can see thats back to stock spec basicaly.

With the RB-SR engine i was thinking of building to high power, the likes of which people sit there and spurt, forged pistons blanced crank etc etc

Any guides would be good aswell

Many thanks guys

do yourself a favour and get it done properly, they aint no old renault lump.

these engines need to be built spot on to handle the power and can easily be buggered if you dont do it 100% right, costing you muchos time and money
