lol

a bleed valve is a boost controller.

you dont need a re-map to increase the boost.

you can turn the boost up by a bleed valve or dawes device. these are cheap, cost about 20 quid, but do the job.

if you are a tight arse, you can put washers on the turbo wastegate, so the turbo opens sooner/later.

id get a dawes device persoanlly.

or if you have the cash an electronic one, like an Apexi AVCR or GReddy profec.

you will find tho that you may need to chip the ECU, as more boost required more fuel. (chip is same as remap)

Be very carefull how much you turn your boost up. Small increases aren't a problem, but to much and pop. If you want alot more power then other stuff will have to be done.

yes safe,

whats the rest of the cars spec?

exhaust, filter?

when i decated, exhaust, filter, i needed a chip, becasue the car was overfueling and hitting fuel cut

exhaust, filter turns the boost up on its own!

you maybe able to turn it up slightly without the car overfueling and hitting fuel cut.

easy,

you just cut a pipe on the turbo in half, then plug each half into the bleed valve.

then you just turn the valve to increase the boost.

you NEED a boost gauge tho!

just remember dude'
when turning the bost up with a bleed valve' do it 1/4 a turn at a time.
Every time you turn it up go out in your car, stick it in 3rd at low revs and then floor it right the way thru 3rd gear.
If you get any backfire at all or the car holds back its BADDDDDDDDDD'
Thats (over boost) and WILL kill your car.
If you get any over boost at all turn the valve back down............

well its pretty much the same thing but probably just a good quality item, anything DW sell can be trusted as the try and test everything they sell.

bleed valves tend to spike.

the DW valve is a DAWES DEVICE.

they are better as dont tend to spike.

DW do one, or there are loads on ebay.

ball and spring controller = dawes device

be really careful with the bleed valve mate.

try if you can to do it properly. i know you may be on a budget but it could cost you more in the long run.

Watch for boost spike in 4th gear under 100 percent load if your choosing to use this crude method
