s14a strut top rot - Drifting forum

hi guys, my 14 has developed some rot at the join in the strut tower, and i was wondering if plating it is ok from an m.o.t. perspective, or do i need to replace the entire panel as its kinda structural?

the seam at the top is where the rot is

Could really do with a picture of your actual car to get a decent answer from anyone.

As long as its done properly it will be fine for the mot.

yeh i suppose, its only bout an inch long from the wing side, and only along the seam so might be able to grind it out and just re weldit i think
