how much should i expect to pay for an s14 manual conversion ????

going to look at an s14 tomorrow thing is its a spoon but its dirt cheap and aparantly in really good condition with FSH etc so its gotta be worth a look, i know i will get really pissed of with it being auto pretty quickly so i was wondering how much it's likely to cost me to get it converted to manual including parts and labour ?

cheers

My parts were £400. but done it meself in 3 1/2 hours including a tea break. might give you an idea for labour.

sure theres someone that can help you out on the cheap, so its possible. expensive bit really depends on what clutch you go for, and tbh if your fitting one you might as well spend the extra and get something thatll last.

I have a ORC 409 series clutch, the kit comes with a lightweight flywheel, and its not invincible but will handle 400bhp and last a damn sight longer than a standard nissan clutch

yeah i know lol , but i'd be warry of buying an s13 anyway so an auto s13 is a no no for me, i really dont want an auto but i'd quite like another s14 and this is the only way i can afford to buy one right now, so thats the only reason im considering it, and if it aint in the condition the seller says its in i'll be walking away.

I paid about £200 for all the parts to convert my s14 to manual and Lance at precision automotive (user name on here: recall) charged about £160ish for the labour to do it. Well worth it as i only paid £1200 for the car so i had a manual S14 for less than £1600.

Luckly i got mates rates, but you can also use an S13 gearbox with s14 belll
housing which works out alot cheaper.
