I figured a pump capable of higher pressure may be more capable of providing the higher flow rate when needed.

Are you all unning your power from the alternator's feed out. I know this is how late astras are powered as when a mates alternator packed up she lost power steeing.

I'm kind of hoping SW20 MR2 bits are the way to go as I might have a spare to sell soon.
i just dug this thread up because i wanna put an electric pas pump on my e30 as it would be easier and cheeper than retro-fittin a standard one.
if we all think an mr2 pump would work good, then ill buy yours off ya that is if u still thinkin of gettin rid??

just found this on ebay apparently ppl are puttin them in rally cars looks a mission to fit but i bet they work brill

corsa electric power steering on eBay, also, Vauxhall Opel, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 26-Aug-08 09:25:40 BST)

expensive tho
