| Doricomotion ![]() | if you search on here, there has been some how-to's with diagrams. Basically, you need to chop the one going to the back brakes, and send the leading pipe into the front of the servo on the hydro handbrake, and have the rear outlet from the hydro servo going to the rear brakes. |

| I'd like to help you out but I've gone for the full installation, which took a lot less hassle and it's different to what you are planning. On your M3 like any other E36 you have ABS. From the master cylinder 2 pipes go into the ABS pump and there is total of 5 in/out. 2 coming in and 3 going out (2 for front, 1 for rear brakes). The problem is that master cylinder and ABS pump have different metric size ends, for this hassle I took the pump out and managed to get from a 318i master cylinder without ABS. I simply ran both lines to braided brake hoses and caliper, then ran the last line to hydraulic handbrake (rear part of cylinder) from (front part of cylinder) hydraulic handbrake ran to T-pieces. But I've modified all that and my T-piece is inside the chassi and the pipes are coming out from the rear seats right into the calipers. So you see in your situation I don't know how exactly you gonna procceed, because if you want to keep the ABS pump and run from it to the T-Piece, you must find the correct ends. Bleeding is a pain but do it 2-3 times more when you think you are done it. I've made mine lock up first time but only thanks to reading from driftworks how hard it is. |

![]() The front port on the hydro cylinder goes to the rear brakes, the rear port goes to the master cylinder. | |

| just spoke to a rally brake specialist in south wales and he said that if i have one pipe coming from the front servo to the rear i need to split that and put both ends into the wand! basicallly like a simple wiring switch when talking about electrics and he said it shouldent interfere with my abs what so ever! so it sounds like a simple job really! that seems to be the opinion of the majority of people i seek advice from! |

| -NightWalkers- | How many times do I need to tell you how to do this Goose lol! I've even found you a pic (which had the ports on the wand cylinder the wrong way around but I told you that) and told you what you need. Having it inline with the rear brake line still allows the fluid to flow through it when the handbrake isn't in use. It really isn't rocket science but you're turning this into a quantum physics equation that requires a 50x50 matrix to solve! ![]() |
