RX7 boffins, loosing boost ?

Got a customers RX7 in Loosing boost, really dont want to get involved but if there is a common fault for them loosing boost please let me know, cant see any thing obvious split pipes etc, goes up to 0.5 bar then drops off ?? Its a standard 93-94, only modifications I can see is a hard pipe kit, has had a nitro kit on it but now disconected.

Check The 'rats nest' for split/worn pipes etc.

See on the diag above - the metal pipe that links the 2 turbos?
Most common leaking part is the pipe that comes off there & goes to the intercooler. Either the join, or the pipe itself if it's a plastic one

Amazing how they make those diagrams look even more scary than the actual thing! My Rex is a single turbo so doesn't have all that but I got a breaker the other day with a standard sequential turbo setup and nearly had a heart attack when I looked under the manifold, so many bloody vacuum pipes!

It'll be a split pipe, dead check valve, or knackered solenoid. somewhere

Cheers for the imput guys, found a split pipe, it now boosts constantly but very low 0.3 bar, any idea what standard boost should be ?

Big split in the rubber pipe from the metal 2 in to 1 pipe from turbo's, job sorted, cheers T.J. and every one else.
