| Skylinepart.cm ![]() | RX7 boffins, loosing boost ? Got a customers RX7 in Loosing boost, really dont want to get involved but if there is a common fault for them loosing boost please let me know, cant see any thing obvious split pipes etc, goes up to 0.5 bar then drops off ?? Its a standard 93-94, only modifications I can see is a hard pipe kit, has had a nitro kit on it but now disconected. |

| See on the diag above - the metal pipe that links the 2 turbos? Most common leaking part is the pipe that comes off there & goes to the intercooler. Either the join, or the pipe itself if it's a plastic one |

| Amazing how they make those diagrams look even more scary than the actual thing! My Rex is a single turbo so doesn't have all that but I got a breaker the other day with a standard sequential turbo setup and nearly had a heart attack when I looked under the manifold, so many bloody vacuum pipes! |
