K-sport coilovers

anybody used these yet and how do they perform as they seem a cheap comparrison to the more expensive coilovers as I'm really strapped for cash

Unless there is a better set up for simular price

Thanks

Gary

a set of lowing springs will lower your car, will be a bit stiffer but your damper rate will be the same, and if they are old shocks it will be crap.

depends what you want at the end of the day, but if you want suspension that is going to work then you will have to put your hand in your pocket or not bother, as k-sport and the alike are made for one reason.. to make money, they look like coilovers but don't be fooled, you can weld poles into you suspension locations that will give more give then these.

I've had a few cars come in with these fitted and its shocking how bad they drive, even more shocking the muppets that say how good they are just making themself look so stupid as they don't know what they are talking about.

i struggle to keep a car on the road with these fitted, even on the softest setting they skip down the road,

I personally would just save your money and get a set of Driftworks coilovers, they are very good vaule for money, i have them on my 180sx, and they are turly amazing, for the money i paid for them i can't belive why anyone in there right mind would go else were.

stay away from d2/k-sport ect ect, they are all shit.

I run k-sport for now and agree with clarkey in the fact that they are stiff as frick but to me they are still better than the bilsteins i had on the car

I will be upgrading when the cash is spare mind

I will look stupid when I say this, my K-sport has spring rate 9.7kg/8.9kg and they feel really good not to hard, I am really satisfied with them what so ever I have driven 180sx with teins, apex and hks hiper2 and I dont feel much diffrence really.

They are crap for grip, even though I dont do that often at all.
