i noticed a red box with pipe/ lines and wave line s above the box after i stopped i see the cat sensor from the old cat had been scraping the floor

also twice today while driving my revs dropped to 1k rpm and wouldn't car wouldn't move or rev so after sitting for a minute i tried revin it again and all was fine

Only time I've ever seen that light on mine was 5th gear WOT from low down revs during mapping. Knock reading shot right up at the same time too so I think they are related.

the sensor is damaged and now its rapped in duct taped hanging

it has always over fuelled

dunno if afm has gone, but the cutting out only started when the warning light came on

right been out yet again and it cut out 3 times !! i'll explain again what happens as this time i had a better look, i pulled out a junction and just lost all power and go, the car was just idle ing and if i tried to rev it even foot to the floor! then it would rev from 1k rpm upto 1.4k rpm n drop straight back down to 1k rpm

i turned engine off for a couple of minutes then it was ok again

Why don't you replace the cat sensor. Work back to when your car was in a working state.

yea matey i was thinking that but as the wire has come away from the sensor i think i'd need to replace the whole wire but it disappears under the car and dont know where it goes to
