Fuel pump experiences...

As I suspect with most others, my wallet isn't too healthy at the moment but it can't stop the urge to purchase car parts. Before any attempt is made to up the boost on my Silvia, I've been advised to uprate the fuel pump to one that can flow 255l/h. I have seen these range from about £30-90 depending on brand and/or supplier.

My question basically is "will a cheap one be likely to result in XS Power turbo style failure?" In theory to me they seem like a simple enough device, but that doesn't mean they can't be badly made.

I know what I expect like to hear may not be what I want to hear but hopefully some peeps can give the cheap ones a thumbs up.

Regards
Mike

a Walbro is the best bet for your budget.
Be wary of very cheap ones on eBay and the like, there are sadly a lot of fakes around
