What E34 have you got? Jeek and Chizfab will testify that the LSD in the 535 is sweeeeeet.

    No.

    535 is 210mm, 525 is 188mm.

Not sure if you can swap it in complete with the shafts though, the 210 might mount differently. Should work if you swap the entire rear subframe over as one though, even then you may need to use your 525 prop flange as the 535 one might be larger PCD.

I'm pretty sure driveshafts are the same but prop is different, you'd need the prop off the 535 too, 525 is big donut like 535 so should just swap over.

If you need the shafts they'll swap too, but hands off, I need them off chunks car. Can source elsehwere if you buy it all off him though.

Incidentally I've got a MEGA MEGA rare 3.91 LSD in tooootally mint condition, low miles if you want it. I've kept it for ages since I was gonna put it in my V8 project but that died a death.

It's worth a fair bit, more than the taller ratios, but I dunno £175 to you sir if that's cheap enough to spark interest. I think I've got a back half of a prop I could throw in too, 99% sure, and yeah it's actually out of a 735i auto with LSD but 100% identical fitment to 535i.

think its sorted, gota go and rape chunks car for prop, shafts and diff:D You can find the shaft else where bon:thumbs::p

So as far as the fitment into the frame goes, thats ditterant too? same sort of differance to a e36 1.8 diff to a 2.8 diff? mounting lugs and holes in differant places due to the differance in size? Just a case of welding in new brakes for it?
