Just thought i would share this with you guys as alot of people seem to be interested into this mod, i did this to a stock set of s14 hubs which are going onto my 180sx

    Can't see them breaking in a hurry..yo :)

    1-5.

    DSC02589.

    2-6.

    3-5.

    5-6.

    0.

i've done this before so i know the results are going to be epic, my R32 skyline had simular style cut mod'ed hubs, correcting the ackaman angle too which will give me more parrel steer :)

oh and the fastest turning lock... in the world:)

That post will echo in my head as i leave the track backwards at 100mph plus with flappy wheels :)

Nah really shouldn't break, i warmed the hubs up as they are cast for the welding and allowed them too cool slowly, so shouldn't get any cracking either.

these are alot shorter then what i've had before, so should be fun :)

I add the 10mm plate also so i have a surface to use for my adjustable lockstops i've made, so i can catch it before it goes over center. Didn't fancy the lock stop crashing into my welds because it will break it in the end. lol.

I would have tig welded it myself, but mig seemed a better option.

Cut about inch out, v-cut the metal to give it more service area to grab too.

I'm going to test the new angles on my car and if i'm happy i'll make a jig and offer them :)

Don't know how much to ask tho, not the best job in the world to do. lol

Cost you bad, real bad :)

I'm going to weigh up the costs and how long it takes me and work a price out, anyone that is interested pm about it.

For best results these need to be used with the driftworks lower arms to allow them to give the lock.. or just cut the lock stops fully off.

    Clarkey.
