If you've got a Z32 then the Z32 ones will be your best bet!

I think the Z32 are alloy and i might be wrong but i think they have fins on them so might not fit under all wheels. S14's arent alloy but dont have the fins.

OK, then you'll be going from 4 stud to 5 stud so you might be worth looking at an aftermarket upgrade for the S13. Wilwood (available from Rally designs) might be a good place to start or alternatively try Apex performance. You should be able to pick up a kit for around £500 I would think which by the time you've messed around with the Z32s isn't too bad.

Early Z32 are alloy, late Z32 and S14 are cast iron. The iron ones weigh more but apparently the alloy ones tend to flex.

I wouldnt worry about "flexing". I don't think alloy Z32 calipers are gonna struggle to stop an S13 in comparison to a 280 BHP Z32 that weights eleventy billion tons

If you can find them I'd go for a Z32 twin-turbo braking setup front & rear (especially since the S13 has the rear handbrake mechanism in-place already) and get a Z32 brake-master-cylinder while you're there. That'll mean larger discs, larger calipers, 4-pots on the front, 2 pots on the rear and the correct BMC to control them effectively. Braided brake lines, good pads (Ferrodo DS2500's or the like), good fluid (DOT5.1) and you'll have a great setup that can handle most driving on/off track.

Only catch as was mentioned above is the fact that you've a 4-stud hub & Z32's are 5-stud so the discs will all be 5-stud too.

yeah only thing was i was gona use the driftworks 5-stud conversion spacers on my car as i thot this would be a cheaper option for wheels as iv got 50mm rear overfenders on, so id have to get re-drilled discs for the z32 but i never knew the rear callipers were a straight fit

You may have to confirm this on SXOC or the like as mechanically yes, they swop in but the size of the discs are different for example and brake lines you may need to look at. The length of the cables & the fittings for the brakes you'll have to double-check are direct swops, I have a feeling the lines won't be.

Hence my comments! By the time you've found a z32 set up, got some new disks and pads and got it to work you'll have spent as much as just getting this:
S13 Apex Performance 310mm brake kit

Jumoing in here ive got a set of late Z32 calipers for sale, c/w pads, mounting bolts etc. £50.00 plus postage. Also have discs but no guarantee they are any good as I had to clout them to get them off.

Still a bit expensive though mate. I bought a full set of R32 GTR discs, calipers, pads and master cylinder for £250 and all thats needed is some conversion hoses for £50ish.
