Right.....Iv looked at loads of forums about dropping a 2jz-ge lump into my IS200, some say it’s straight forward and others are completely waste of time and money. I’m a cnc machinist by trade so some parts I can machine myself ie engine mounts.

Reason behind the swap.....I want to take my car to dwyb days, nothing hardcore for now. Is it worth the Swap?

Just buy an IS300? Or if you want to keep it a 2.0 on paperwork buy an IS300 and swap it all over. Or put your 2.0 plates on an IS300?

    Basically, buy an IS300

Works out a lot more expensive buying an is300 though.

I can buy a 2jz-ge na for around £500 and quiet easily make an adaptor plate for the gearbox and any mounts.

I don’t know what to do

I see you're in Bristol. Have a look on Copart's website, they have a premises at Avonmouth and also somewhere near Almondsbury. See if you can bid on a cheap cat-whatever IS300. That way you would have the correct wiring harness throughout and could make some money back from the parts you don't want or need.

For £500 you could buy an entire GS300, though it wouldn't be a great one.
