    Here's my skip

The paint works rubbish anyway and i just want to make it look a little nicer for now. It will be dipped at some point but for now I want to roller it purple as if done right it can actually look 'ok'

Reading up people use rustoleum with thinners but I can't find any purple! What types of paint can I use? I heard people using house and trade paints that come in purple that just say gloss

Obviously it's not going to look great but it's just a track car so I'm not to fussed on pretty paint jobs I just don't want it multi coloured anymore

Giving it a good polish now will be better than a roller paint job.

At least at the moment it looks used but ok, but once you touch roller to paint there will be no going back from destination Shitsville

My paint looks shittier in person than that picture. Did think about spraying the overfenders and skirts red.

This was a roller job and tbh looks better than my stock paint

What maccy said, just give it a good detail, will cost the same as the paint you buy and the other shit, but will bring the paint back

Finish doesn't look too bad... How many rattle cans did you end up using? And did you do much/any prep work?

Ended up using 8 cans. Could do with another blow over probably 2 more on the bonnet and boot.
As for preparing good wash and just keyed up with some wet and dry.

The paint really doesn't look that bad from that photo, I'm certain it would clean up and look reasonable.

For the love of all things holy, can people stop rattle canning their cars satin black. In no conceivable way does it ever look any good.

As people have said, give it a proper detail to bring back what you have. Rollering a Zenki would be like marrying your sister, just wrong.

Please accept my sincere apologies. I will go out straight away and a get the car re painted. Should only cost about 2k just seems a waste for a car worth about the same as my left trainer.

A like button would be good. I just don't see the point of spending ££££ on a car that will have bumpers ripped off and panels smashed in.

I'm a firm believer in not spending on things that are not needed, and looking at your display picture; your beemer looked like it was a perfectly acceptable condition standard grey/blue before you spent pointless cash on rattle cans.
