Daze,
Im trying to give you feedback mate. I watch you lots. You have been getting better but you seem obsessed with arm out window while at the same time you lines are weak.
If you focused more time of steering with both hands and getting line spot on you would score better in any drift comp than you would for weak lines and showboating with arm out of window.
As a reference for you when we do fast 5 car trains at pod how many of the decent drivers have arm out of window ?
how are you supposed to wave and flash your highlights whilst being in total control of a fast moving drift car. I think this is more likely a jokey comment from malx that could be read into too much and if followed to the letter potentially very unsafe4. Showboating.
Extra points are to be had for show boating
for Class B, a wave to the judge mid corner, or flashing headlights, tyre smoke would be a high points score.
Class A all of the above 'at the same time'
MAX points available 10.
Each promoter will explain the course, the scoring criteria and the clipping points at a driver briefing prior to qualifying.
NO passengers allowed during qualifying runs
More to the point he points out each promoter will explain the scoring criteria. Has Me, B or anyone involved with DWYB ever said you will score higher for waving. NO
So to clarify you dont get points for waving at pod
Lesson for the day - listen to judges , dont believe everything you read on the interwebz![]()
