BMW medium case diff, crown wheel and pinion with final drive higher than 3.64 ???

i think the next one up should be around 4:1? this is to fit a medium diff casing so 188mm crown wheel.

ok cool that sounds like something to aim for ! any1 out there got something like this. i dont care what car its from, if its open/welded/lsd etc. i literally just want the crownwheel and pinion!

I'm pretty sure thats wrong for the UK, USA only I beleive.

Cheapest way is to buy an E30 diff, they are small and medium case diffs, and just swap CWP.
You can get 3.71, 3.91 and 4.1 CWP in the E30.
Once CWP is swapped, get backlash checked. I was hoping to do this to mine, but know nowt about backlash or where to get it done at.

Neither of those mention the size of the case. But if small case, you could also buy a small case e36 diff.

It seems 3.91 and above you have no 1st gear as its useless.
