Desperately need a new engine!

After big plans for an SR transplant I checked the money front and found out I'm pretty broke!
I'm after a standard/stage 1 ca18det block to do a straight in and out swap for my knackered one. Idealy with sensible milage on it as I don't wanna have to rebuild it a week after fitting it!
looking at a budget of around £350 tops.
There would appear to be multiple problems with my engine and I've already had it rebuilt...
Anyone help?

i got a bare sr engine bottom end hks 2mm headgasket and head for £500 but you would need the small shims, rocker arms and hydrulic lifters my mate raped my engine for these bits also need 2 cams and thats it, you could always rape your current engine for these bits the engine has about 78,000 miles

current engine is a CA...so not much use really!
And like I said, can't really afford to do the SR swap anymore...
Thanks though.

I have a ca18 det with box in my garage, bought for a project for £100 from scrappy. If you want it it's yours for no penny, only collection. I live near Goole near the humber estuary. I say no penny as I've not heard it run and the head is pretty knacked due to spark plug errosion in the wells. the looms cut in usual scrappy "I can get that out for you" style I'm afraid, and the fuel rail's been chopped at the regulator end.

PM me if you're interested and want pitures.

Hope we can get you back up and runnin buddy.
