HELP my S13 ca18det wont work arrrrgh!

the car ran I parked it one evening and in the morning it would not start!

It turns over it has a spark there is petrol the fuel pump is working!

so far I have replaced the cam shaft sensor and the resistor thingy in the passenger wing I have also put new coil packs in cleaned the plugs and even the ignition amplifier and now im stuck for what to try next!

when you remove the fuse for the fuel pump it coffs and splutters and trys to start but with the fuse in nothing happens! It has been suggested that maybe it is the cold start sensor and its flooding the car which kind of makes sense to what is happening but nobody seems to know where it is located and even if the s13 has one if anybody has any suggestions or wants to come and have a look I would be very greatful as I want to skid real bad!!!!

im based near Gatwick airport

I'm wondering if your injectors are stuck open. Might be worth checking for signal at the injector plug?

Temp sensor is on top of the engine, at the front - its a blue* plug. Remove plug and see if it works

Have you tried replacing the ballast resistor (silver rectangular box that sits inside the LH wing) as well?

* May be wrong

Lol, it's easy enough - just connect a meter (ideally an analogue one) to the pins in the injector plug. You should see voltage pulses there when the engines cranking.

update: have now replaced

coil packs
cam shaft sensor
resistor
ignition amplifier
front of loom
spark plugs

have got it started but it will only run on 3, 4th cylinder the one at the back will not work it has a spark and petrol the plug is black running out of ideas again tonight we are replacing the injector rail to see if the injector is stuck open?

Once the car has been toe started it will run and it will then start as well but if I leave it over night from cold it just turns over!
