rear tyre wear mostly on inside on one side

    Hi guys,

my tyre wear while driftting is mostly on inner side and on the other wheel on the outer edge, is this normal or does it suggest a toe in or toe out issues in the rear?

    thanks

Inside of one wheel and outside of the other suggests that you are mostly drifting in the same direction and are at standard ride height. Getting a lot of lean so +ve camber on one wheel and -ve on the other.

Least thats my first guess anyway.

your theory sounds like a possible cause.

my car is lowered to the ground , in the front axle the distance between the wheel arch and ground is about 59 cm and rear 57( my rear is lower), is this an issues?
in another word my car is really low and when compared against a normal road car they are like 4x4 compared against mine

i did change the trailing arm busches and this is where i think i may have changed the toe but camber was it should be untouched unless the car height( been lowered ) has introduced a camber which think may have ( - camber)

Your running too much negative camber at the rear.

Mine does this and did it in my old s13. Got the s13 aligned to dial out some - camber and it wore a lot more evenly after

I would expect this to wear the inside of both rears. Is this not the case?

Lowering will induce more negative camber. What car is it ?

Yes that is right but if your skidding more one way on a track then one tyre will ware down more. I'm only talking from my own experience and then more recently (yesterday's) my mates did this

I would say toe, I had this issue where I had a lot of negative camber, but it was the toe in causing the wear. After I adjusted it, even with excessive negative camber, the tyres wore a lot slower, in fact hardly anything missing off of them even after a month/5-600 miles driving on them.
