    Hi everyone,

I've just put a deposit down on some xt-206r's, but i've just found a couple of posts about them not fitting over some calipers.....

Does anyone know if an 18x9.5j et12 would fit over standard s14a brakes?

    Any help appreciated.

    shouldnt be a problem.

up front on my s14a I run 18x10 et 5 and ksport 356mm brakes fit with no issues.

They need a 15mm spacer to clear stock Nissan S14 brakes.

    Well bugger.

The company I bought them from said they weren't 100%, they had said they had heard of people with big calipers having to run 5mm spacers or milling the caliper back to give some room, but hadnt heard of issues with standard calipers.

I think i will just suck it and see, i could gain a couple of mm's just filing back the NISSAN logo:smash:

The wheels arrived, and they clear the rears fine, just could do with an arch roll to fit some decent width tyres.

The fronts don't clear the caliper, so i need a big spacer, but i don't want to run wide arches so i was wondering what brake caliper/disc options i have if any are further away from the back of the wheel?

A Ksport/D2 style BBK might work as the disk is larger and the caliper mounts further away. If its an S14 you should be able to fit these under stock arches with a 15mm spacer

With a 15mm spacer it would be 18x9.5 et-3? if i can fit that under I'll be chuffed! i haven't test fitted the fronts properly as i cant bolt it on but i will have to look into front brake upgrade.

But if anyone had a pair of d2, k-sport or similar i might bite the bullet.

I do a brembo conversion for s body chassis cars , not 100 % on clearance on your wheel but they should clear , where are you based ?? I could try one on to see if it fit ?

I've been looking at the the evo 8 brembo calipers, as it seems to be a cheap option, which brembo calipers are you talking about?
