The Driftworks Suspension Line - Phil

A good suspension setup is the key to building any good drift car. As with any other form of racing, it can mean the difference between first and last place. We've done a massive amount of work to develop and complete the incredible value and fantastic quality Driftworks suspension line, to help get you that first place. Using these products, you have all the adjustment you need to align the car correctly after lowering. You can remove all play from the horrible flexible pressed arms, and the tired rubber bushes in your original arms are replaced by very high quality Japanese teflon 3 peice bearings. The words of the day describing the way your car drives after fitting these components might be 'solid' 'precise' 'accurate'.

We hold massive stock of each of these components, and are on hand to offer expert drift setup advice to customers purchasing these products from us.

Adjustable Front AND Rear lower control arms for Nissan 200SX S13, S14, Silvia S13, S14, S15, Skyline R32, R33 and R34 GTS-t

Front Arm Benefits
  • Allows you to increase your track (the width of your wheelbase).
  • Gives more precise steering control and feedback.
  • Elimates all interferance, binding and slop in your suspension when used with our adjustable tension control arm's.
  • Superior braking stability.
  • Accomodates more steering angle.

    Rear Arm Benefits
  • Adjustability allows an increased track (width of wheelbase). This increases stability, and also allows camber adjustment from the bottom axis.
  • Tightens up the whole rear end. The rear lower arm bushes are put under alot more stress when drifting and circuit racing. These arms with spherical bearings remove that slop completely.
  • Use of bearings instead of bushes means there is no binding within suspension travel. This allows the rest of the suspension system to do what it is supposed to, without interferance.
  • You don't have to do that horrible job of replacing bushes.

    Front Lower Arm Product Information

Driftworks adjustable lower control arms with pillowball ends allow you to accurately set the track (the width of your wheelbase) of your drift/track car. They eliminate every last bit of unwanted play that a normal bushed lower arm would give you, by using high quality spherical bearings to replace the rubber/poly bush.
This means the suspension does exactly what you set it up to do, without having to account for the dark art how 'bush play' effects alignment.

On the front arms the use of the spherical bearing means that whatever you set your castor to (tension rod length), there is no binding from the inner bush being forced out of it's natural angle, when the tension rod pulls the front lower arm forward..

The adjustable steering bump stops allow you to set maximum steering angle for your car. Please be aware that the adjustable bump stop is a generic item, that may require slight modification to get maximum steering angle on your individual car, as Nissan use different knuckles with different cars. Bump stops are adjustable as the maximum steering angle position is set on an individual basis, as it changes with castor angle (tension rod length).

Easy to fit. Just measure the length of your standard arm, and use the tunbuckle adjusting system, to set these arms to the desired track width. These arms must be used with our adjustable tension rods. Please ensure you retain enough thread in the adjuster on the tension rod, as the wider you make the track, the longer your tension rod will need to be to acheive the same castor angle.

Our front and rear lower arms are an important part of the puzzle in any fully sorted suspension setup on a RWD Nissan. They are manufactured to the same extremely high standards as the rest of our suspension range, using high load Japanese bearings, and maximum penetration welding.
Do not confuse these products with cheap imitations that use dangerous bearings and low strength welding.

Driftworks Ultimate Carbon/Alloy adjustable tension rods

Driftworks Ultimate Carbon/Alloy adjustable tension rods use an oversized carbon fibre shaft with CNC'd lightweight alloy inserts, and solid high carbon steel adjusters. They allow you to acurately set the castor angle of the front suspension. By using a high load spherical bearing they eliminate all the play that the huge jelly filled standard bushes cause. This gives you much more predictable and acurate steering, handling and braking as the wheel is going where you tell it to instead of where bumps in the road tell it.

    The Driftworks Four Arm Kit.

    S13 suspension arm kit Drifting

This Kit Comprises of every upper adjustable suspension arm you will need on your RWD Nissan. The perfect kit to use with our adjustable lower arms. Available for Nissan 200sx/Silvia, S13/S14/S15, R32 GTS, R33 GTS, and used on many of the top drift cars in Europe.

    Includes:

    Driftworks adjustable camber control arms
with pillowball ends allow you to accurately set your rear camber. A must for any lowered car, as the standard eccentric bolt doesn't allow enough adjustment. Correct alignment is essential when trying to achieve the perfect drift setup

Driftworks adjustable toe control arms, again essential when lowering the car, you often go beyond the range of standard toe adjustment, and cause uneven tyre wear and bad handling characteristics. These arms allow you to align the car back into spec. The use of the spherical bearing helps eliminate unwanted play in suspension components under the heavy loads that drifting applies.

Driftworks traction control arms, replace the standard non adjustable Nissan part. It is the final adjustable arm needed on S13,S14,S15,R32,R33 rear suspension set up. Adjusting this arms length decides how much toe is given to the rear wheel under suspension compression. The arms also eliminate another of the unwanted standard rubber bushes from the rear suspension setup, once again contributing towards that perfect handling car.

Driftworks adjustable tension rods allow you to acurately set the castor angle of the front suspension. By using a high load spherical bearing they eliminate all the play that the huge jelly filled standard bushes cause. This gives you much more predictable and acurate steering, handling and braking as the wheel is going where you tell it to instead of where bumps in the road tell it.
Please note: 4 arm kit may be supplied with Orange or Carbon tension rods depending on stock.

All our suspension products are designed for rigorous use and tested on our own vehicles. They are made to our own exacting specifications, using high load Japanese three piece bearings, and maximum penetration welding. Do not confuse these products with cheap imitations that use dangerous bearings and low strength welding.
