Onevia Finale.

The description for this video reads:

“The reason for doing this.. Our friend who owned the car passed away.. and No one wanted a punk ass 16yr old to be driving the car around that he finished the way he wanted it before he died.. so instead of it getting picked apart in a junk yard.. crush it… He was the type of guy who actually threw his last car in a dumpster cause it rattled.. so this fit him perfectly…”

T’is a shame, but it’s good to respect someones wishes. It’s pretty sad when you see a ride you put love into looking abused a few years down the line.

^ In what way mckenziecz?? The guy obviously loved his car, it looked sick, and from what I can see around the internet he put time, money and effort into it. There’s a kid round here who drives a mate’s old car about, which he bought after he was killed in a crash and I hate seeing the car going round because I got memories. I’ve got another mate who’s in the army, he loves his Glanza, and if he dies it’s going the same way this OneVia did for exactly the same reason. Think about it a bit harder before you call it retarded. Yeah it’s a shame as it was a nice car… but it was HIS car.

I have sympathy for the fact that you lost your friend, as many do and of course youd want to respect there wishes…

but come on. Give it a few more years and cars like this will be rearer than a dodo bird. Yeah it might have been HIS car but i was someone else car before that and probably before that…regardless of the circumstances of how it lost its owner this be passed onto , yes not a 16 year old retard but someone who would respect it such as fellow drifters maybe?

What a waste..mind you that what more can you expect from you yanks…pea for brains the lot of ya

you`re from the us and A, aren`t you?
because only the retarded americans are able to do such things…
ok, maybe it was his last wish, but is it necessary to laugh that way while damaging a car??
it`s never funny to damage a car.
doesn`t matter if its a new or old one.

think about that, poor guys…

Tbh I feel they did they right thing.

After all, they followed his… ways of getting rid of a car. For the sake of it, I’m going to say that the laughing in the video wasn’t really appropriate either.

I know it was the guys wishes but its still a shame to see a great car like that just destroyed so brutally with people laughing while it happens, annoying to me!!!

Bull shit! I could never destroy something a friend had clearly treasured, you can see the car has had a lot of time, work and effort put in to it, how could you be so twisted to do this and say it was to stop a punk ass (whatever that is) 16 year old from driving it? I would have kept it myself and maintained it as a tribute to the memory of a friend.

Only in America

What a mental last wish, I’d leave it to a lucky mate to have the fun I wish I could have had in it. Still each to their own…

You obviously knew the guy well, but personally I felt pretty sad seeing his pride and joy being smashed to bits like that rather than keeping it as a cherished and stored car or passed to someone who would love it and keep the memory alive. It just felt wrong and a little sick from where I stand, but then again I didn’t know the owner (R.I.P).

I too think the family should have kept it but like above they obviously knew him better than us… again R.I.P

I can see why you wouldn’t want a dickhead to get hold of it after he passed away, but like the other guys said, surely it should have been something for his family to treasure and remember him by? Especially after all the work that went into it, something to remember him and his commitment and passion for cars. To each his own though. RIP fella.

Not ‘all Americans’ are like this – I can’t believe what some people have to say about this, so narrow minded!

I recall seeing an amazing looking white Spec-R S15 Silvia built by a group of friends as a tribute to a friend who had passed on – in America.

It’s what they wanted to do as a tribute, so let them. Yes, they could have kept the car, but after a while they would only get angry looking at it, it’s a well spec’d car by the looks of it, none of us would say no to it! Seeing that thing parked up and not being used by the owner, who has passed, can only be a bad memory.

Give it a rest guys- please.

right just so we all know
if i die (which i know i will at some point) i dont want anybody to do this to my car.
if my mrs or kids dont want it then sell it and use the money for something useful.

i cant imagine the owner said to people “right everyone, when i pop off this earth i want some moron in a huge FLT to completely crush my car whilst you all film it whilst laughing”
more likely to of told somebody to use the thing and get some pleasure from it.

they should have parted the car out, and donated the proceeds to a chairity. Maybe to cure aids or cancer, to help the homeless, maybe to the red cross. do anything except destroy a car that gave someone joy. let his joy become something that truly helps other people that are in desperate need. that is a more fitting, respectful and admirable monument to someone who you loved.
