It’s pretty weird that these pictures are still here, as the hosting is from the beginning of time. But this build thread in the forum has been bumped recently, and with the recent news about D1GP’s unrest, it brings back warm fuzzy feelings of the build up to the last time D1GP came to our shores…. They weren’t better times, or worse times. But they certainly were a hell of a lot different to the show we run at Driftworks HQ nowdays. We had started Driftworks, but I was still working full time at a rough inner city sixth form college as a media facilitator, and randomly ‘back up security guard’. I would finish work and head up to my garage at home with my friends, crafting till the early hours of the morning to get it done in time.

awesome! this will be me and my mates soon! we have been tinkering with low power cars for a few years and each day we learn more and more!
