Driftworks S15 2011 Completion!

The new look 2011 Driftworks S15! Fresh paint, fresh design, and…….. Well that’s about it really! It’s still 720bhp, it still has possibly the best suspension setup in the world, Infact it worked so well at the end of last year giving us the championship win, all we’ve done is changed the oil and done a spanner check! Let me assure you that at camp Driftworks that is positively unheard of at the start of a season! 😀

Thanks have to go to Ed Chambers (BLiTZ on the forums), who won the ‘Design the 2011 Driftworks S15’ competition in style! and of course to buddies Paz and Jay (Jimsfactory) who helped me make the design happen in real life 😀 Despite having very little mechanical stuff to do, it’s still been a hectic couple of weeks!.

Click through for LOADS MORE PICTURES. My Photography once again does the car absolutely no justice, so I’m looking forward to some pro shots over the weekend! 😉

Back to the Original Vertex Ridge front bumper. It’s looks so much more complete.

Booooooodie!!! The orange really shows how much we pulled the Vertex Ridge rear quarters.

Rota GTR-D’s now in a custom matt silver/gunmetal.  The spray work courtesy of Jims factory.

The car is now sitting on the trailer ready to go to the first round of BDC tomorrow, so before I head off for a well deserved beer (and to catch up with a load of work the car has caused me to miss :D) all that remains is to thank my sponsors on board again for this year:

Federal Tyres
Sky Insurance
Rota Wheels
Motul
Syvecs ECU
JimsFactory

and of course all my lovely ‘ass’ociates at Driftworks :p

Do you actually try to make this car look uglier every season?

Get that rear tow hook sprayed black, or the same custom colour as the wheels!! will look epic, i don’t like the orange on orange tow hooks and straps should stand out IMO 🙂

always loved this car, but the zipper thing is really terrible, reminds me of a few cars i saw in max power a few years back with the same zipper thing

that said its obviously still an animal of a car and will hopefully get repainted soon 😀
