So how’s this for a bunch of stupidly cool photos?
The Niigata-based GP Sports guys go hard in they’re extreme looking 180s at their home track – the fast and technical Maze Circuit.
GP Sports make various parts such as exhausts and all manner of drift related modifcations, but their most famous creation is easily the wild GT inspired G-Sonic Evolution bodykit. You may recognise it from D1GP driver Masato Kawabata’s blue Toyo Tires 180sx, the man who blew many peoples minds a few years ago with his insane reverse entry drift (take a look below!)
Still incredible today.
Although the wide-body GP Sports kit may not be to everyones tastes, they aren’t cheap by any stretch of the imagination, so you gotta give props to the guys for driving together the way they do.
And although pictures say a thousand words, sometimes video is better, so here’s a some footage of two GP Sports 180s tearing it up!
Impressive twinning skills aside, what do you think of the GP Sports kit? Love it or hate it?
