Introduced back in 1993, the Nissan 200SX S14 was made lower and wider than its predecessor, the S13. Japanese interest stayed high throughout its production but exports wavered meaning the fastback and convertible models were discontinued. There was a mild facelift update in 1996 known by enthusiasts as the 'Kouki' or 'Zenkei" that brought about more aggressive styling and tinted rear lights. The S14 finally ceased production in 2000 with a version called the Touring Model and featured a better engine block, pistons, and improved acceleration in lower gears. In the 7 years the S14 was produced, around 60,000 units were sold worldwide.
